Background
Since 2015, the NHS and MOD have been working together on plans to enhance the range of health and care services for Catterick Garrison and the wider Richmondshire area to help address:
- capacity to support growing numbers of military personnel, dependants and families, as well as
the residential population - limited service integration and communication
- mental health and children’s service provision
- access to services
- quality of estates
- rurality and travel
The new facility aims to give all residents of Richmondshire access to the right care, at the right time, in the right setting, delivered by the right professionals to enhance their wellbeing and independence, and improve their overall quality of life.
