Middleham has been twinned with Azincourt (known as Agincourt in English) for more than 30 years and activities are organised by Middleham Town Twinning Association. The Association host visits of French friends from Azincourt biannually for a long weekend and on alternate years a group from Middleham is hosted in France.
Azincourt is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in northern France. The Battle of Agincourt took place nearby in 1415.During the year, various local, social and fundraising events are held by the Association which are open to both members and non-members during the year.
