Spring Clean Town Council Shortly before Stables Open Day (which is always held on Good Friday)
Stables Open Day Racing Welfare  Good Friday on the Easter weekend; most Middleham trainers open their doors to the public.
Feast Day Feast Day Committee Middleham Feast Day is a traditional community event held on the second May bank holiday Monday on the playing fields where kids join in different races. Refreshments available. In the evening, a fancy-dress parade and competition in the market place is followed by entertainment including DJ Wilko and a traditional game known as ’tilt the bucket’.
Open Gardens The Church Held every other year at the end of June, homes open their gardens from 11am until 5pm.  Small entrance fee payable on the from stalls at the top cross in the market place and free car park on the busks at the bottom of St Alkelda’s road. Refreshments in the church.
Richard III Festival Various Ricardian Groups in collaboration with the Town Council On a weekend in July.  Talks by historians and researchers, a school parade, re-enactors, musicians and an evening banquet.
Seniors’ Coach trip The Town Council During the summer months
Leek show Middleham & District Leek Club First Sunday in September in the Richard III Hotel.  See Club details on the Organisations Page.
Bonfire Night MSCWA On the Playing Fields.
Children’s Christmas Party The Town Council December, in the Key Centre.
Christmas Lights / Community carol singing Town Council and Rectors of St Mary & St Alkelda’s Church First week in December; in the market square
