Council has been notified of the following, which may affect your journey times.
This letter is to inform you that Tarmac Trading Ltd on behalf of North Yorkshire County Council will be
undertaking remedial works at the junction between the A684 and Brompton Road. The works will be
carried out under temporary traffic signal control and both the A684 and Brompton Road will remain
open to traffic.

The works will be carried out on Monday 14th February between 07:30hrs and 17:30hrs. This may
inevitably delay vehicular travel but we will endeavour to reduce delay times during the working period.
We request your assistance in the following ways: –
- Please contact the Council Customer Resolution Centre on 01609 780780 to identify any special
access needs you may have during the work period; - Cooperate and comply with any instructions issued by site staff and the Traffic Safety & Control
Officer and take extra care whilst near the works area.
