As you may have seen, construction of a civic burial ground is taking place on the open space between Park Lane and St Alkelda’s Road. For a very brief period of up to five days starting on Monday 1 August, the Town Council’s contractor will lay a paved path from the access point to the church burial ground. This may unavoidably block the footpath.
An alternative route would be to leave the southern exit from the church burial ground, walk along the Park Lane cul de sac and rejoin the path by the play areas.
