ROAD CLOSURE A6108 MIDDLEHAM TO LEYBURN WEDNESDAY 19 MAY FOR THREE DAYS

The A6108 Middleham to Leyburn road will close for RESURFACING from Wednesday 19 May for three days between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00

North Yorkshire County Council will be undertaking resurfacing on the above road between Middleham Bridge and the 30mph speed limit in Middleham.

A diversion route shall be signposted and can be seen hereA6108 Middleham to Leyburn Road Diversion Route.

The work is part of an extensive programme and as a consequence it is possible that some adjustment to this start date or the duration of the works may be necessary should unforeseen circumstances, such as significant weather events or emergencies on the highway network arise.

Limited vehicular access will be permitted to properties along this route throughout the works and it would be appreciated that vehicles are removed from the highway before 08:00 throughout the period of the works. Please be advised there will be extended periods when access will just not be possible due to the nature of the works and physical constraints of the site. Pedestrian access will not be permitted.
