On the above dates, NYCC shall undertake resurfacing works over all the areas of footway in Park Lane extending near the old chapel as far westwards as the junction with Sharp Hill Close. The works are relatively fast moving. There may be some vehicles in the road so ‘Give & Take’ traffic control will be employed which will simply require drivers approaching the works from opposing directions to give way to each other until it is safe to pass. Appropriate temporary warning signs will be used by the contractor.
NYCC’s contractor will hand deliver a letter with more detail to each property which may be affected by the work. This letter will make reference to parking and offer advice about the need to move vehicles prior to the start of works.
